Sarah's Home
Sarah spent five nights in the hospital. RSV usually doesn't affect older children like this, but Sarah was a preemie and her lungs just don't always work as well as they should. She had to spend so much time in the hospital because she just couldn't keep her oxygen levels up. It was a long week and not much fun. Sarah was on oxygen and had an IV. She was pretty pitiful for awhile. Andrew spent the first four nights in the hospital with her and then had to go to work so I spent just the last night with her. Joseph was there with us as well since he is still nursing. Sarah was discharged on Friday afternoon with five different medications I have to give her each day: two antibiotics, cold medicine, a steroid, and her breathing treatments. She is doing much better but still has a nasty cough. I want to thank every who kept Sarah and our family in your prayers. We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family. I'm so happy to have Sarah back home!
