OUCH!!

I can finally type! Two Sat ago I dropped Elizabeth off at a Birthday party and took the three little ones to CiCi's Pizza. Andrew was in town, but at a Priesthood meeting at church. With Joseph on my left hip I went to get him a highchair and slipped on the wet floor and down I went landing on my right arm. It hurt so bad I could hardly move. I heard a lady ask if she could help and I had her take Joseph. Someone else helped me up and I sat at a table. Now I've given birth to 4 children, but this pain was almost worse than that! My arm was killing me and the tears just came; I tried, but I couldn't hold them back. This same kind lady who helped with Joseph put him in a highchair, and got pizza and drinks for all the kids. She also sat with me while I tried to get in touch with someone, anyone who could come and help me. I was finally able to track down my mom who came to the rescue. She packed the kids in the car, picked up Elizabeth from the Bowling Alley and took them home to get ready for bed. Oh, and we finally got someone at the church to answer the phone and Andrew came and took me to the ER.

I spent 10 days in a half cast/splint and this morning got the official word from the Orthopedic that my arm isn't broken just badly bruised. It is still swollen and very sore, but hopefully will be all better soon.

I'm glad everything is okay, but sorry that you had to endure all that pain anyway. I hope that you are healing well and able to do all the amazing things you do every day!

I'm glad it's not broken, but sometimes bruises hurt worse than a break. I hope that you keep healing well. It was so good to see you and your little ones. They are precious! I had a great time visiting with you at lunch. We all need to get together more often. Thanks for the pictures. They turned out so cute. Well, the ones of the kids did. Feel better.
Lanell, That is HORRIBLE! I am glad to hear that you are doing better. WOW, that must have hurt bad if it was worse than child birth! Not that I know, but I could only imagine, OUCH!!!!!!!!

It's doing much better. Still very tender if it gets bumped, but doesn't hurt all the time now :)
