My Mountain Climber

Ok, so it's not a mountain, but Joseph just can't seem to stay on the ground! He is climbing any and everything he can get his little knees up on.
I didn't quite get the camera fast enough here. When I first saw him his knees were still on the couch, but his hands were on the chair as he was trying to get on the table. When he noticed I had seen his attempt he quickly started backing down the couch.


Last night after I had the girls in bed I was cleaning the kitchen while Joseph was playing in the living room. I heard him crying and went to go see what was wrong and this is what I found.He got up, but could not figure out how to get back down!!

We also have a monkey in our house!! She climbs onto EVERYTHING! I'm surprised by how high she can climb not using any "step stools" or anything. I remember JJ going through this stage, except he would jump off of things. We put him in gymnastics, and it stopped. We can't afford that with Karlee though so we just try to keep an eye on her. Her favorite places to climb are on top of the kitchen table or the back of the couch (against the wall, and then she crawls along it). Gotta love this stage, huh?! Have that camera ready!

lol...this makes me feel a little better!! Elissa does the same thing all the time! When we were still at my mom's I once found her in the kitchen sink!!! If I leave her for 2 seconds she'll be up or in something!!!

The twins were supposed to be in their beds in their room watching a movie for quiet time while Joseph was taking a nap today. I heard them in the kitchen and asked them why they were out of their room. They instantly started saying "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" so naturally I went to see what they were so sorry about. And the diagnosis is . . .

Friday morning Emily woke up with a fever. By Sat night it got up to 105! Boy was she a sick baby. Sun morning while Andrew took Elizabeth and Sarah to church I took Emily to Primed. Her WBC was high (21) so the doc new it was a bacterial infection and gave her a shot of antibiodics. He didn't run any other tests though so we didn't know where the infection was. (I was kinda frustrated about that) Even with motrin and tylenol she ran a nasty fever the rest of the day. Monday I took Emily to her regular Dr who ran all kinds of tests and discovered my poor baby girl had Pnemonia!!! She got another shot of antibiodics and was put on oral antibiodics for 10 days. Her oxygen level was great so I got to take her home, but I have to take her back in a week for a repeat chest x-ray to make sure the pnemonia is gone. Sarah started running a fever Sunday night so the doctor did a work up on her and found she had elevated WBC too so she was put on antibiodics as well to fight off the inf...
