It's not always nice to share

It looks like Emily decided to share with Sarah. Even though Sarah was put on antibiotics along with Emily, her fever started up again this past Sunday. She had a chest x-ray done yesterday and was also diagnosed with pneumonia. Looks like Emily didn't want to keep her germs to herself! Sarah screamed as she got a hefty dose of antibiotics, one shot in each thigh, and continued to scream during her breathing treatment. She is still sleeping a lot and acting like she doesn't feel good, but the fever is gone for now. It's no fun having sick babies and not being able to fix it!

What? That's just not fair. I hope everyone is finally back to good health soon! My 4 year old was hospitalized for RSV @3weeks old. I hate having to do breathing treatments (but glad to have the equipment for when I do)!

The twins were supposed to be in their beds in their room watching a movie for quiet time while Joseph was taking a nap today. I heard them in the kitchen and asked them why they were out of their room. They instantly started saying "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" so naturally I went to see what they were so sorry about. When I saw them I put them in the tub right away and asked them what happened . . . And the diagnosis is . . .

Friday morning Emily woke up with a fever. By Sat night it got up to 105! Boy was she a sick baby. Sun morning while Andrew took Elizabeth and Sarah to church I took Emily to Primed. Her WBC was high (21) so the doc new it was a bacterial infection and gave her a shot of antibiodics. He didn't run any other tests though so we didn't know where the infection was. (I was kinda frustrated about that) Even with motrin and tylenol she ran a nasty fever the rest of the day. Monday I took Emily to her regular Dr who ran all kinds of tests and discovered my poor baby girl had Pnemonia!!! She got another shot of antibiodics and was put on oral antibiodics for 10 days. Her oxygen level was great so I got to take her home, but I have to take her back in a week for a repeat chest x-ray to make sure the pnemonia is gone.
