Fall Festival

Elizabeth's school has a Fall Festival every year and the kids always have such a great time at it. They have inflatables for the kids to jump and slide in, face painting, a bake sale, and lots of food! It is a fundraiser for the school and one I don't mind participating in.
You can see the backs of the girls here. Last year the twins weren't very fond of the inflatables, but this year I couldn't keep the girls out of them!
Big sister Elizabeth was always close by in case the girls needed a little help.


Poor little Joseph spent a good bit of the time we were there in the stroller. With all of the bigger kids around, it just wasn't safe to let him inside the inflatables. He did get to run around when the girls were on the playground and getting their faces painted.

We all had a great time and will definitely go back next year. Who knows, maybe that time Andrew will actually have off and get to come play with us :)

So cute of the kids! Joseph is getting so big and looks ADORABLE! Glad that you had such a great time at the festival.

Twins in Trouble

The twins were supposed to be in their beds in their room watching a movie for quiet time while Joseph was taking a nap today. I heard them in the kitchen and asked them why they were out of their room. They instantly started saying "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" so naturally I went to see what they were so sorry about. When I saw them I put them in the tub right away and asked them what happened . . . They some how managed to get into Elizabeth's ink and stamp set and decided to decorate themselves and their bedroom. You can tell by the look on Sarah's face she knows she is in trouble. And Emily doesn't seem any happier. They colored their beds Elizabeth's Bed And the rug on their floor. And the diagnosis is . . .

Friday morning Emily woke up with a fever. By Sat night it got up to 105! Boy was she a sick baby. Sun morning while Andrew took Elizabeth and Sarah to church I took Emily to Primed. Her WBC was high (21) so the doc new it was a bacterial infection and gave her a shot of antibiodics. He didn't run any other tests though so we didn't know where the infection was. (I was kinda frustrated about that) Even with motrin and tylenol she ran a nasty fever the rest of the day. Monday I took Emily to her regular Dr who ran all kinds of tests and discovered my poor baby girl had Pnemonia!!! She got another shot of antibiodics and was put on oral antibiodics for 10 days. Her oxygen level was great so I got to take her home, but I have to take her back in a week for a repeat chest x-ray to make sure the pnemonia is gone. Sarah started running a fever Sunday night so the doctor did a work up on her and found she had elevated WBC too so she was put on antibiodics as well to fight off the inf...
