The Easter Bunny's arrival

We have a tradition in our home that has carried over from my family. The Easter Bunny comes on Saturday before Easter so on Easter Sunday we can focus on the Savior and the true meaning of Easter. The Easter Bunny also hides the kids Easter Baskets and it is always fun watching the kids try to find them.

Daniel's wasn't hidden very hard this year since he is still so little. He seemed to enjoy eating the socks he got ;)Emily's was hidden in the back area behind our pull-out garbage can.
Joseph's was hidden under the phone desk with all our extra juice which was very fitting since Joseph likes to get under there and rearrange all the juice :)
When Sarah finally found her basket in the stove she asked for help in removing it since she wasn't allowed to touch the stove. Too cute!
Elizabeth took the longest to find her basket. It was hidden inside a paper bag between the washer and the water heater. I'm amazed she actually found it!
Another fun Easter treat was a house guest we had for the weekend. At Elizabeth's school in the Science Lab they have lots of pets and the kids take turns bringing them home for the weekend. We just happened to get the bunny for Easter Weekend! The kids had so much fun with our temporary addition.
Happy Easter!
