104.5

That was Joseph's temperature for most of last week. He did this back in April and got admitted to the hospital and after running all kinds of tests they never discovered what was wrong. This time our Pediatrician decided not to put Joseph through that again and did minimal lab work and gave him a shot of antibiotics and then oral antibiotics. He started running the fever on Wed and so far his last temp was Sat morning (it was 103.2).
This is poor Joseph trying to sit with us on Thurs as we ate dinner. He refused to eat and only wanted to lay his head down and drink from his ice water sippy cup.

We go back to the Ped. tomorrow for a follow-up but I'm pretty sure all will be fine. It is really not fun having a sick baby and I am so happy he is feeling better.

Poor little guy. It's so hard to see them when there sick. Yet I'm always so amazed at how quickly they can get back to normal! Good luck at the doc tomorrow!

That fever would scare me to death! I am so sorry that both of you had to go through that. I am glad that he is feeling better. Hopefully you can get caught up on all the sleep that you have missed.

Hope all is well soon. Its amazing that his high fever look is to lean over with his sippy cup! His smiles are precious, can't wait til we see more of them.

Poor kid. I'll bet you were all miserable. I'm glad he's feeling better. Here's hoping it doesn't happen AGAIN!
