Joseph's Feeling much better!

As you know, Joseph was pretty sick for awhile but now he is feeling great. Here are a few things he has done this past week.Joseph loves to touch the ceiling! When you pick him up he will reach up high and smile. The funny part about it is that he will only touch the ceiling with one finger. He cracks me up.
Next he loves to climb on everything. A box on the floor, the couch, the kitchen table; it doesn't matter to him at all!
I was trying to cut the lawn this morning, but Joesph was being WAY too helpful and kept getting right in front of the lawn mower. So I broke out the back Carrier and away we went. He had a ball! The only bad part was anytime we got near a tree he would grab onto a branch and kinda pull me back. He sure thought it was funny!
Oh yea, and back to the climbing thing, Joseph now thinks the fireplace is his own personal club house! I got a nice video clip of it.

Isn't it nice to have kids all better again. Look at all the fun we were missing!

Okay, I'm sorry, but I just had to laugh at your children's mishaps this week!!! Joseph covered in soot was the best. Good for you for having such a great sense of humor about it all!!! I'm glad you got pictures and video!

It always amazes me at how active kids get after they are all done being sick! I am so glad he's doing better. Awesome pictures!

I'm so glad to hear they're better. Joseph is so cute. We have bungee cords on our fireplace doors. Abigail was fascinated with it too.

Our Trip to the Fair

The Alabama National Fair was in town this week so we decided to take the kids (although I think we had just as much fun as they did!) One of the first things we did was go to the circus. When we got inside the big tent we found some friends of ours (their little girl is Elizabeth's best friend) so we hung out with them most of the time we were there. Our seats were right in the front and I was amazed at how close the elephants came to us. There were also jugglers, clowns, and some performing horses. It was a lot of fun. We also got to watch the sea lions do their tricks. They balanced a ball on their nose, shot some hoops, danced for us, and even caught and threw Frisbees ! The girls were amazed by them; Joseph missed it all since he fell asleep in his stroller right before it started. Twins in Trouble

The twins were supposed to be in their beds in their room watching a movie for quiet time while Joseph was taking a nap today. I heard them in the kitchen and asked them why they were out of their room. They instantly started saying "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" so naturally I went to see what they were so sorry about. When I saw them I put them in the tub right away and asked them what happened . . . They some how managed to get into Elizabeth's ink and stamp set and decided to decorate themselves and their bedroom. You can tell by the look on Sarah's face she knows she is in trouble. And Emily doesn't seem any happier. They colored their beds Elizabeth's Bed And the rug on their floor. After their bath they spent the next two hours scrubbing everything they touched in the kitchen, their ink footprints off the floor, and the rug in their room.
